Highlights – Wild Atlantic Way, Conor & Healy Passes, Blarney Castle, Cliffs of Moher, DownPatrick Head, Dublin

Saturday 21 – Saturday 28 May 2022

Our view: Riding in Southern Ireland on great roads (& we’ll be honest – some bumpy ones!) with stunning scenery along the Wild Atlantic Way. Day’s off with optional ride-outs, staying in 3* & 4* hotels, this will certainly suit riders & pillions alike.

The Tour starts and finishes in Rosslare. With the ferry from Fishguard arriving late afternoon our first day includes a little surprise en-route to our 3* riverside hotel in Waterford where dinner is included in the hotel restaurant.

The next day, after coffee in the town where Moby Dick was filmed, you get the chance to kiss the Blarney Stone and visit Blarney Castle during our lunch stop. We ride some good roads to our 4* hotel in Killarney where we stay for two nights and dinner is included tonight in the hotel restaurant.

On day three we offer an optional ride-out to the Ring of Beara including the Healy Pass and the famous Ring of Kerry. With photo opportunities, coffee & lunch stops en-route we return to the same hotel in Killarney where the evening is at your leisure. It is just a short walk to the town centre where there are numerous bars & restaurants to choose from.

Day 4 takes us round the Dingle Peninsular which includes riding the Conor Pass, stopping for photos at the highest point. We then ride to the Cliffs Of Moher on our way towards Galway and our 3* hotel where we stay for the next 2 nights. Dinner is again included tonight at the hotel restaurant.

Day five we offer another optional ride-out this time into the Connemara National Park passing peat bogs and more lovely scenery. Returning to our hotel the evening is at your leisure, there are restaurants nearby or alternatively Galway is a short taxi ride away.

The next day we are still following the Wild Atlantic Way stopping to see the fabulous cliffs at DownPatrick Head before heading to Sligo Harbour to our next 3* hotel where again this evening is at your leisure.

Day 7 we head towards Dublin, with an afternoon arrival at our 3* city centre hotel we plan to visit the Guinness Experience after which you have the evening at your leisure to explore Dublin (for nightlife don’t miss the Temple Bar area full of bars & restaurants).

On our last day we ride through the Wicklow Mountains, with coffee & lunch stops en-route to Rosslare for the evening ferry to Fishguard.

This will be a fully guided motorcycle trip from the moment you arrive in Fishguard. The routes have been researched to ensure that we always stop every hour and a half for coffee, lunch or fuel so riders – and pillions – will not be too long in the saddle. As we use our tried & tested “2nd man drop-off” marker system with a permanent tail-end rider there is no need for you to refer to road books, maps or GPS.

We stay in good 3* and 4* independent hotels, all with character, all with secure parking and all biker friendly.
