I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your great company throughout the week. Karen and I thoroughly enjoyed the evenings, the laughter, and all the stories that were shared along the way. Thank you also for your patience in waiting for the back marker 😉.
A special thank you goes to Richard and Heidi for organising such a fantastic road trip and taking us to parts of Europe we had not experienced before. There was a great mix of roads, from picturesque rural countryside routes to challenging mountain passes that really tested both the bikes and the riders. We experienced some truly stunning scenery, including alpine valleys, Swiss waterfalls, historic castles, and, of course, the world’s biggest cuckoo clock.
The hotels were all excellent, particularly those in Baden-Baden, Hochschwarzwaldhof, where we stayed for two nights, and Le Beaudon at Merlin’s Castle. Each location was full of character and set in beautiful surroundings. The food throughout the trip was of a consistently high standard, with plenty of choice at every stop.It was a fantastic adventure and a road trip that we certainly won’t forget.
We hope to see you all on the road again for the next adventure.

Our first night together, Dinner is included,
On returning home and reflecting on our tour, Lindy and i have agreed that we both enjoyed more or less every moment. A couple of long days, but these things happen. Some rain accompanied us on the b500 making it a slower ascent. Ah well. Our fellow tourers were excellent company and although there were not as many bikes as usual, our enjoyment was not diminished.
Richard and Heidi were perfect hosts and we can’t praise them highly enough for doing everything they could to make our holiday enjoyable. As usual BN Comes up trumps. I am looking forward to the NEC Show in November to see you, and the tour list for next year. We will be back.

They just keep coming
The ‘Black Forest’ tour is a great package of wonderful country roads, great scenery and lovely hotels with good food. For a motorcycling holiday, the routes did not disappoint; with sweepers, twisties and rolling smooth country roads up hill and down valleys.
Rich and Heidi did a great job, and made everyone feel at ease from the start. They handled the process calmly and professionally, always in a cheerful and friendly manner. Nothing was a problem – the tour was excellent – Rich and Heidi make a great team.
