A really sociable, friendly group with great riding & great weather – another fab tour!

In Calais the night before…

There’s a Coldplay tribute band

And at lunch stop…

There’s a circus

I have just returned from the Colmar & Vosges Tour, this was the first time with this tour operator. I have been travelling in Europe for many years on many different bikes, and with many different people. This is everything you could want from a bike trip. Well organised and thought out, with the right mix of rider levels that puts no pressure on anyone to either ride too quick or take anyone out of their comfort zone.

The hotels are very welcoming and very bike friendly with all the facilities you will need, and the added benefit of a longer stay in Colmar. This enabled a few of us to cross over into Germany and sample the delights of the Black Forest, while others took the option of having a day off the bike and enjoying the town or a Bugatti Museum tour.

The price is well pitched and the whole package is highly recommended.”

The organisation and hotels on my 8th tour with John and Jen was excellent. As usual, John was the epitome of professionalism and good nature. Nothing was too much trouble. Were treated to fabulous sweepers and twisties with the added bonus of glorious panoramic views across the French countryside. All in blue skies and sunshine. Two full days in Colmar meant that we could ride in the Vosges mountains or just be chilled-out tourists. What’s not to like?

Finally, as a lone traveler, I really appreciated the friendship of my fellow bikers. No worries about sharing a meal, a drink and of course a good rant! I will return for my 9th tour just as soon as I can.”

“Hi, this was a first for me, first time on the bike in Europe and my first time on a fully guided tour. I couldn’t have chosen better, the whole experience was wonderful. John was great to chat to and always had time to answer an amateurs questions. The hotels were excellent and well chosen including the optional Calais one not included in the tour. Great roads, scenery and company, what more do you need. The group were very social and welcoming with many returning for another tour which must say something. Really enjoyed the whole experience and hope to join the group again in the future. Many thanks and stay safe to all the group”

“Thank you for a great 9th trip for me. This nice short break with the three day stop was just what I needed. Colmar is such an interesting town to discover but I missed all the dancing that is in the photos! Some lovely straight roads mixed with twisty adds to a good variety on this trip. It was nice to have a dry holiday too but 38 degrees was pushing it! A great bunch of people who all got on well and some girly’s too. Look forward to joining you again next year.”

“Just back from a fantastic trip to Colmar/Vosges. Great roads, weather, and couldn’t fault the company, a great bunch. John made sure everyone had a good experience and no one was under pressure to keep up. Will be looking to book another trip soon. Thanks again John.”

“Colmar and Vosges tour: My first experience of an organised tour and I couldn’t have wished for better. It was well organised, perfect in fact with good hotels and choice of roads. My fellow travellers were all lovely people who were very easy to get on with which just helped to make it a wonderful holiday. I intend to do two tours with BN next year and would have gone again this year if the dates had worked for me.”
