A really sociable group made for a great, fun tour.

In Calais the night before…

Many meet in the hotel bar

But he has to go home as Janet’s had an accident!!

Heading into town…

There’s a Whitney Huston tribute band

Hi John & Jen, thanks for another great bike tour – our 12th so far and just as enjoyable as the 1st. We hope we are able to join you again next year on the Spanish Cities tour. As usual everything was planned and organised for us so we don’t have to worry about anything besides riding our bike. It really does make all the difference. Hotels and included meals were great (John – we don’t know how you do it for the price!!) and Colmar was a very pretty town. A great base for 3 nights. This was a great, friendly group on tour and we thank you all for your company. Hopefully we will meet up again on future tours.

Alan & Julie Grieves, 12th trip, Ducati Multistrada V4S, Norfolk

At morning coffee…

Nigel’s already back in Somerset!

Lots of restaurants at lunch stop

So who didn’t see the wild boar??

“From Alison & me – we had a great tour – everyone was great company. (I’ve just realised I was calling Darren – Martin – for 4 days & not once did he correct me!!) Again, the roads & scenery were stunning (& apart from having to leave the tour early to catch the shuttle) we enjoyed the tour immensely. Many thanks again to you all

Richard Moore & Alison Harris, 3rd tour, Kawasaki ZH2, Dorset

Coffee stop next day

“Well – I drank lots of good Belgian beer, ate a lot of French and German sausage, and got to ride my motorbike (without losing my license to Le Flic!) to see Titisee. Doesn’t get much better than that…oh, and met some nice people too.”

Stephen Wood, 5th tour, Honda Africa Twin, Gloucestershire

Our 4* hotel for 3 nights

Dinner is included again tonight

The next day is a day off

Some take the train to the Schlumph Motor Museum

“Thanks John, great trip despite my antics! I have to be honest, I was relieved to get out of La France without further run-ins and onto the shuttle.

“Hi John and Jen (who was missed), the Colmar Tour, where to start…Biblical rain on the way to the tunnel but as John said the tour didn’t start till the next day when he had promised sunshine. Boy did we get sunshine. As per usual the tour was as good as all previous tours, in fact probably better weather. The hotels, the food, the company all up to expectation. I think everyone enjoyed themselves – although Speedy Gonzales Martin went home a few euros down!! Apart from me taking a wrong turn – no excuses I boobed. Till the next time, stay safe everybody.”
