The group in Dublin visit the Guinness Experience – some great roads, hotels, hospitality & food made for a fab trip.
Steve H & Kyle are easily amused!
Our first visit
It’s Guinness time for Nigel!
“Hi everyone, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour from start to finish – the hotels, meals, routes, bike parking etc were all spot on for me. What makes or breaks a tour like this is the people and I thought you were all great company and a pleasure to be away with and ride with. Shame the weather wasn’t that brilliant at times but that’s just how it is!”

“I thoroughly enjoyed the tour – even the weather – it was lovely to see Ireland under blue skies rather than through low cloud & rain. The hotels were all fine, as were the routes, parking & meals. I thought the “drop off” system was excellent…the distances ridden each day were just right…and there were plenty of stops to stop the dreaded numb bum! I thought everyone on the tour were all great & I echo Nigel’s comment “all great company and a pleasure to be away with & ride with””
Steve Bown, 1st tour, BMW F800GT, Wiltshire
Perfect pose Tony!
“Hi John & Jen, we thought the Ireland (Wild Atlantic Way) tour was absolutely superb. Both Di & I enjoyed every second of it, so well organised (as usual). The roads were fantastic and well planned. Fuel and coffee breaks were spot on. Hotels were perfectly located and parking secure. The other members of the group were all lovely and everyone seemed to gel together very nicely. What was there to dislike? Absolutely nothing, even John’s joke’s were acceptable! “

“Dear John (and everyone else) I would just like to repeat everyone else’s comments. Hotels, food, company all great. My favourite hotel and place was Killarney and my only criticism was that on that day I would have liked to arrive in Killarney a bit earlier…I will definitely be seeking approval from management to book another trip!”

“We both thoroughly enjoyed the trip, again – company, hotels, safe overnight bike parking ! and riding routes all made for an excellent tour.
Thanks for the advice we were given by the group, I have already signed up for the police bike safe rider course (25/08/24) and we will be signing up again, with John’s advice. Thank you both. All the very best to everyone”

“Dear John and Jen, back home and back to work!! With regards to the tour we have to say that all the accommodation was excellent and the dinners were too! Much appreciated the two meals provided by BN Tours. Everyone was very sociable and we enjoyed meeting them all. The riding was challenging at times – especially in the wet around tricky passes! but all in all we enjoyed the whole experience. Best wishes to all and thank you for the tour.”
Richard & Jan Waters, 1st tour, Triumph Tiger 800 & Honda NC750, Norfolk
3,2,1…Steve H’s going over!!!
“It’s just another excellent review for BN Tours – this time the Ireland tour. It’s getting difficult to write these reviews as you can only say excellent so many times!
Routes, locations, hotels, site seeing – all researched and put together by John & Jen to make an excellent, entertaining, easy week away. A guided tour, with a back marker, riding at your own pace without the fear of taking a wrong turn. Plenty of stops to be able to get a taste of Ireland. And Ireland, what a place. The people, hospitality, places and views. It’s well worth doing this tour to experience what Ireland has to offer. Thanks for a great week :-)”

I am a true biker man
Who is free to make my own plan
Yet despite what they say
I always get my own way
At least when alone in the van!!
Then Alan
Bike Normandy is John and Jen
They do some bike tours now and then
John said “Stay in France”
Jen said “Not a chance!
And we’re changing our name to BN”
Then Kevin
*
Two jolly back markers from Kent
Tony’s fork’s were exceedingly bent
Due to this disfunction at every junction
He didn’t go left the bike went (right)
It did worry Di who said during a barny
We’ll end up at home, not a hotel in Blarney!
Then Nigel…
There was a man from Brazil
Who swallowed a gunpowder pill
His belly retired
His bum backfired
And his cock shot over the hill!!
*
There was a young man named John
A Street Triple ridden with aplomb
Except the rear winker
That went on a blinker
And needs to be fixed from here on!!
Di’s next
Then Jan
Steve S
Paul D
Kyle’s turn
There was an old man called John
Who loved to ride alone
With a hop and a kick
He boards his stick
And we all follow along!

Didley Dee – 7th BN Tour for me;
The weather’s now gone – the days don’t seem so long;
The sun’s in the sky – warm winds in your face;
Hopefully all will agree that the journey has brought you some glee;
And the fun and friendships formed in Ireland will always be here and free.
Tony
Lovely roads and company to boot and I think we have all had a bit of a hoot!
Conner pass was a lot of fun, despite at times having a somewhat clenched bum!
Bike Normandy certainly have done a sterling job, John deals with so much it makes my poor head throb!!
I think we might all have to come back to do it twice, cause I really don’t know how they do it for the price!!
And the award for the best limerick
A leprechaun goes to Tony!
Take a bow!
Next day visit Blarney Castle
The best place for him!!
