The group on our second Tour to Ireland, some great roads, hotels, hospitality & food made for a fab trip.

Ready to board at Fishguard

All aboard

And we’re off

Just chillin’

“Hi John & Jen, just returned from another excellent BN tour. This was another triumph of organised touring. Superb hotels, good food, excellent company and some really good roads (some were a bit bumpy but we were warned!) The limericks on the boat coming back had everyone laughing (see end review). Thanks again for another great week. I hope you all got home safely.

“Just wanted to thank everyone for your company and friendship both on and off the bike. A great group of people all round. I had a great time, really enjoyed myself and can’t wait until my next trip. Hope to run into you again at some point and thanks again to John for doing such a wonderful job guiding us through Ireland.

Hugh is the only one…

to kiss the Blarney Stone

We’d been thinking about going to Ireland for years, we finally did it thanks to BN, we also got to use the bike we got before lockdown! We both had a great time, met old acquaintances and made new ones. Well done BN European Tours.”

Hugh’s Crosstourer

“Hi John, home safely after an 8hr night ride but was worth it. I watched the sunset and sunrise from the saddle. Hoping everyone else got home safely after a great week of riding in a place I have not visited before but always wanted to, a bucket list tick.

Can’t complain about anything, hotels, food or road choices. I know the amount of effort you put into every trip and you have set your bar high so expectations go with it.

Thanks for letting me tag along with you both on the bike and in the evening. I know you gave everything to the trip being available 24/7, not an easy thing to do and keep a smile at all times.

Finally, I don’t have any photos to share but did catch a bit of Go-Pro which is uploaded onto YouTube. Type in adeymac then choose Atlantic Way. Best seen on a big screen ie TV, hope you approve and pass the link on to the others.

Stay safe, see you again, Adey.

Sorry no text…

Then XXX???

Paul “Parker” was next…

“John had missed Jen whilst on tour,

So Alpacas are his new amour,

Their eyes are exciting,

Their lips are inviting,

But kissing them leaves his lips sore!!”

Sandra took a turn…

“You’ll find me in the garden,

Amongst the flowers & bees,

Listening to the birds,

Enjoying a cup of tea…!”

Parker again…

“We’ve met John & Sandra before,

But I can’t remember the tour,

Their company’s great,

And I hope it’s our fate,

To meet on a tour just once more!”

Yvonne takes a turn…

“There was a young man called Adey,

Who’s persona’s decidedly shady,

He hid a posh glass,

To save Sandra’s ass,

And the police found him next day dressed as a lady!!”

John has one too…

“I like Alpacas,

Because they do a mean Haka,

There’s an expert called Glynn,

And according to him,

They also go like the clappers!!”

Yvonne has another…

“A lonely young man called John,

Well his head had completely gone,

He bought an Alpaca,

A pack of maracas,

And dancing said “She’s the one”!!”

Chris takes a turn…

“Young Paul said on the bikes we will tour,

To Ireland we’ll go – to be sure!,

But the roads were too bumpy,

It made him all grumpy,

And his teeth all fell out on the floor!!”

Adey had a rhyme…

“There was a young man called Hugh,

On a bike tour he tootled onto,

He fell off his bike,

To the left, to the right,

And found himself in the stew!!”

And don’t forget Ian’s joke – that he no longer has a long memory!!

Thanks to everyone for making this tour a success, we look forward to seeing many of you next year. Ride safe, John (& his Alpaca !!)
