Rouen Armada Tour 12 – 15 June 2013
The group outside our first stop at the Benedictine Abbey at Fecamp * “Many thanks for a great trip to the Rouen Armada – good weather, fantastic group of people and a wonderful itinerary of places visited – never realised Rouen had so much to offer after always travelling through it. Highlights were obviously the “Tall Ships” but for us it was dinner the first night in France’s oldest Auberge – we have been to many places to eat but this was magnificent with brilliant surroundings, food and staff who made the place something very special. Once again many thanks for a great few days away and see you on the next one” John & Karen Scanlon (3rd trip), Honda VFR800 * The fabulous interior of the Benedictine Palais * “Another lovely holiday, with Bike Normandy,Lots of roads to explore, and beautiful places to see. John & Jen our guides, first class in every way, Even arranged sunshine, nearly every day! Superb restaurants, Monet’s garden was the best, Only thing I had to do, was help John with his vest! The orange reflective one, he wears to lead the pack, With Jen keeping an eye out, for straddlers at the back. Nigel’s looking forward to the four by four, He’s already checked out next year, to book another tour! We had a great time, as always. Very best wishes” Nigel & Janet Short (9th trip), BMW GS Adventure * See all the artwork associated with the famous liqueur * “Thanks for the Rouen Armada Tour – it turned out to be lucky 13th trip for me as everything went well with no mishaps. The tall ships were definitely a sight worth seeing, the roads were good and the others on the trip were a very friendly bunch. We both loved the organised experience and it has enabled us to plan and look forward to more trips in the future – hopefully with Bike Normandy if you’ll have us [of course we will!- J&J] We have to ensure the ferries are booked by me next time! Thanks once again…” Heather & Alun Yeend, BMW F650GS * * * * “Just wanted to let you know that I thoroughly enjoyed the Armada Tour” It was a completely different experience for me. Thanks a lot” Colin Shaw (7th trip), BMW 1200RT * * “Great pics and comments, we have many happy memories – but truth be told – hotels don’t beat your wonderful hospitality at le Champ Masse. There were so many high points, not least historic Rouen and the tall ships, but dinner at La Couronne and Giverny were extra special. We have a soft spot for Honfleur and eating crepes with you on the last day. The group gelled quickly and the high standing of riding set by you and the “old hands” was infectious and reassuring for the newcomers. Thank you both for making it a truly relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Carol was fulsome in her comments about how much she appreciated the itinerary and daily mileage. It was in all respects an outstanding tour. Best Wishes” Bryan & Carol Symons, Triumph Sprint GT
